Use Your Life Experience To Get A Degree Online

Many adults would like to earn a college degree, but they don’t want to spend 4 or more years doing so.  They know that that they could probably get a better job with a college degree, because many of the higher paying jobs require one,  and aren’t particular about what the degree is in.

They just want to know that the person applying for the job has the intelligence and discipline it takes to earn a college degree.  But 4 years is a long time, and it also costs a lot of money.  But there are alternatives.  One of the best ones is getting a life experience degree online.

Now, don’t get the wrong idea.  No college is going to grant you a Bachelor of Science in Life Experience.  When people talk about a life experience degree online, they’re referring to the fact that a lot of colleges and universities that grant degrees with online study will give a person credit for their life experience.  This can cut years off the time it takes to earn a college degree, and can save a person thousands of dollars in the process to boot.  And if you’re an adult who’s past your early 20’s, you no doubt have some valuable life experience which you can apply toward your degree.

If you get a life experience degree online, will it be regarded the same as a traditional degree.  Yes, if it comes from a reputable college or universities.  Again, it won’t actually be a degree in life experience, which would be pretty vague.  It’s just that you’ll be able to use the knowledge you’ve acquired on your own to apply toward earning the degree.  It’s pretty much the same thing as taking a CLEP test in order to skip the basic courses of college.  Many students earn over a substantial amount of their college credits by testing out, and their degree is just as valid as anyone else’s.  The same principle applies with life experience.  So if you’ve been wanting to earn a college degree, but have been putting it off because of the time and expense involved, check out online degree programs that give you credit for life experience.
